Paul Mitchell is one special pig. This Ossabaw Island feral hog was bottle fed as a little piglet by the island’s resident, Sandy Torrey West. Raised as a pet by Mrs. West, he visits – oinking for food and attention - with guests to the island as they sit on the veranda of the club house. Paul and Mrs. West have a special bond. So special that if he spots a certain caretaker, he’ll tug at the caretaker’s pocket until the caretaker takes out his cell phone and calls Mrs. West so she and Paul can have a conversation.
